IDF launches strikes at Sanaa International airport by Carl Montel.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed carrying out a series of intense airstrikes across Yemen, focusing on key Houthi-controlled infrastructure. Among the primary targets was Sanaa International Airport, effectively shutting it down and disrupting critical transport and supply routes.

In a statement released Tuesday, the IDF reported that the strikes were part of a coordinated effort to weaken Houthi military capabilities. In addition to the airport, Israeli forces struck electric power stations and the al-Imran cement factory, located just north of Sanaa. The factory is believed to have been used for military purposes, according to Israeli intelligence.

These attacks come as tensions in the region continue to escalate, with Israel accusing the Houthis of participating in hostile activities and supporting broader threats to Israeli security.

While no official casualty figures have been released yet, the shutdown of the airport and damage to key infrastructure are expected to worsen the humanitarian situation in Yemen, a country already battered by years of civil conflict and economic collapse.

As the international community watches closely, there are growing calls for restraint to prevent further regional destabilization.

We at SNEWS TV will continue to follow this development story and bring you updates as more information becomes available.
