Executive privilege waived by White House for President Biden’s doctor in suppression probe by Katy Moore.

In a stunning development from Washington, the White House under former President Donald Trump has waived executive privilege for Dr. Kevin O’Connor — the longtime personal physician to ex-President Joe Biden — in connection with a congressional probe into an alleged cover-up of Biden’s health status during his time in office.

SNEWS TV has learned that Dr. O’Connor is now cleared to testify before the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating claims that senior Biden aides concealed the former president’s physical and mental decline. Committee Chairman James Comer has subpoenaed O’Connor after he declined to appear voluntarily.

In a letter sent Tuesday from the White House Counsel’s Office  and obtained by Fox News Digital, President Trump determined that executive privilege could not be justified in this case, citing the “unique and extraordinary nature” of the investigation.

The letter specifically authorizes discussion of two key topics: Dr. O’Connor’s medical assessments of then-President Biden’s fitness for office and any financial relationships he may have had with the Biden family. O’Connor’s attorney has confirmed receipt of the letter.

Over the weekend, O’Connor’s legal team requested a delay in testimony, calling the subpoena “unprecedented” and expressing serious concerns about the breach of doctor-patient confidentiality. In response, a spokesperson for the House Oversight Committee dismissed the request as a “delay tactic” aimed at obstructing the investigation.

The White House letter further states that the matter involves “exceptional circumstances,” suggesting that aides to President Biden may have not only concealed critical information but also potentially exercised presidential authority on his behalf a move that could carry grave constitutional implications.

While former Biden officials continue to deny any wrongdoing, the investigation has gained momentum following Biden’s widely criticized performance in the June 2024 debate and his subsequent decision to exit the presidential race.

Other former senior officials from the Biden administration including ex-Chief of Staff Ron Klain and former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre have also been summoned for closed-door interviews.
